Description of needs expressed by the production sectors
The ICT sector (SEP 14 IT services) has experienced, in recent years, also due to the technological push generated by the pandemic situation, a sudden and violent acceleration that has exposed the labor market's inability to provide adequate professionals. The ICT sector needs highly specialized figures that are in short supply. For this reason, it is appropriate to train qualified personnel in software development, personnel that is very difficult to find, and therefore has great job opportunities. For this reason, also considering previous projects, the need to foresee a short course aimed at enhancing skills related to software development (UC3 -2918) within the qualification "Responsible for the design of software procedures and IT applications" present in the Regional Repository of Titles and Qualifications is evident.
