WORKPLACE SAFETY - CONSTRUCTION SITES
The course aims to train the role of the safety coordinator during the design phase and the execution phase, introduced by the “Construction Site Directive”.
It covers knowledge of current regulations, the risks associated with the various work activities on site (fire risks, machine hazards, hygiene issues, electrical risks, etc.), health prevention (first aid, occupational diseases, etc.), the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and safety planning, also considering coordination among the various figures involved in the construction site.
The course also provides knowledge on safety signage and on the forms and documentation required to comply with current regulations.
In the new regulatory framework concerning hygiene and safety on construction sites, it is necessary to appoint a qualified person such as the safety coordinator both in the design phase and in the execution of works. Therefore, this course enables specialized professionals such as Engineers, Architects, Surveyors, and Industrial Technicians to complete their knowledge and carry out the above-mentioned tasks.
