Scaffolding Assembly, Disassembly and Use

The course is based on the provisions established by Article 36 of Legislative Decree 81/08, 106/09 and by the State-Regions Agreement of 22/02/2012.

The course is intended for workers responsible for scaffold assembly and disassembly, as well as for employers who are required to inform workers about the correct way to perform the task and the related risks.

The topics covered in the course are as follows:

• The physical and mental conditions;

• The assembly team;

• Nomenclature;

• The plan for assembly, use and disassembly (PIMUS);

• Regulations;

• The risks present in scaffold assembly/disassembly activities and the safety measures to be adopted in response to such risks;

• Personal protective equipment;

• Methods for assembling/disassembling scaffolding;

• Differences between the various types of scaffolding;

• Anchoring;

• Safety inspections and checks on scaffolding.
