• The welding operator is responsible for the fusion joining of distinct metal parts, preparing the pieces to be welded, finishing welded pieces, using welding machines or tools. They read technical drawings and instructions and perform welding and joining operations using traditional equipment or automatic welding machines, for which they ensure functionality and efficiency and carry out compliance and stability checks on the operations performed. They predominantly work in medium and large mechanical companies in the production area, generally under an employee contract, assuming responsibility for their tasks, interacting with the team leader and/or department manager, and collaborating with other workers.
