• The environmental operator carries out waste collection and cleaning of buildings, parks, gardens, and other public areas using manual or mechanized systems while complying with safety procedures and taking care of preparing and maintaining the materials and equipment necessary for carrying out activities. They report to the competent authorities alert situations such as the presence of hazardous waste or the need to replace containers and bins and request specific interventions for collection and cleaning. They mainly work under an employment contract in waste collection and management companies, interacting with other team operators for collection and mechanized sweeping activities.
