PROFESSIONAL PROFILE DESCRIPTION

This professional is responsible for caring for and assisting people in situations of hardship or physical and/or mental dependence, in order to meet their basic needs and promote their well-being, autonomy, and social inclusion.

The Health and Social Care Worker carries out their work in collaboration with other professional operators responsible for health and social assistance in both public and private facilities.

TECHNICAL-PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

BASIC MODULES:

  • Promotion of equal opportunities in the workplace and relevant legislation

  • Introduction to ecology and the environment, sustainable development, and any relevant sector-specific legislation

  • Computer science and web: theoretical knowledge and practical use of tools

  • Workplace prevention and protection regulations (Legislative Decree 626/94 and subsequent amendments and additions)

  • Introduction to legislation on workers' rights and duties, including the methods and features of typical and atypical contracts. Collective bargaining

  • Introduction to the current tax system

  • Introduction to project financing: incentive laws, structural funds, self-employment
