PROFESSIONAL PROFILE DESCRIPTION

The professional figure provides assistance and care to elderly people and persons with disabilities in nursing homes, home care services, day centres, residential communities, sheltered workshops, boarding facilities, employment inclusion services, home assistance, and in situations of social marginalization and psychological distress.

TECHNICAL AND PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

BASIC MODULES:

• Promotion of equal opportunity conditions in the workplace and related regulations

• Introduction to ecology and the environment, sustainable development, and any related sector-specific regulations

• Computer science and the web: theoretical knowledge and practical use of tools

• Prevention and protection regulations in the workplace (Legislative Decree 626/94 and subsequent amendments and additions)

• Introduction to legislation on workers' rights and duties, including the methods and features of standard and non-standard employment contracts. Collective bargaining

• Introduction to the current tax system

• Introduction to project financing: incentive laws, structural funds, self-employment
