PROFESSIONAL PROFILE DESCRIPTION

The professional figure designs and implements socio-educational services and interventions for early childhood, adolescence and the family, as well as cultural and recreational initiatives aimed at socialization and the development of growth and relational potential. They carry out support activities with or for families in schools, services and directly in the local area (street outreach).

The professional qualification is essential for employment in public and private childcare facilities.

TECHNICAL AND PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

BASIC MODULES:

• Promotion of equal opportunity conditions in the workplace and relevant regulations

• Fundamentals of ecology and the environment, sustainable development and any relevant sector-specific regulations

• Computer science and the web: theoretical knowledge and practical use of tools

• Workplace prevention and protection regulations (Legislative Decree 626/94 and subsequent amendments and additions)

• Overview of regulations on workers’ rights and duties, including with reference to the forms and characteristics of standard and non-standard contracts. Collective bargaining

• Overview of the current tax system

• Overview of project financing: incentive laws, structural funds, self-employment
