PROFESSIONAL PROFILE DESCRIPTION The professional figure carries out treatments suited to different epidermal problems and skin types. They are able to work with a wide range of makeup styles depending on the type and features of the face. They know the techniques for creating theatrical makeup and the effects of light on the face. The attainment of the professional qualification allows employment in beauty centres.

TECHNICAL AND PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

BASIC MODULES:

• Promotion of equal opportunity conditions in the workplace and relevant regulations

• Basic notions of ecology and environment, sustainable development, and any relevant sector-specific regulations

• IT and web: theoretical knowledge and practical use of tools

• Workplace accident prevention and protection rules (Legislative Decree 626/94 and subsequent amendments and additions)

• Basic notions of regulations on workers' rights and duties, including reference to the methods and characteristics of standard and non-standard contracts. Collective bargaining

• Basic notions of the tax system in force

• Basic notions of project financing: incentive laws, structural funds, self-employment

SPECIALISATION MODULES:

• Face and skin: knowledge of characteristics and types, care, analysis and treatments

• Makeup techniques, color matching, enhancing facial features and face types

• Types of makeup for daily use and for special occasions

• Types of makeup used in theatre: theoretical and practical knowledge, effects of light
