PROFESSIONAL PROFILE DESCRIPTION

This professional figure has developed the skills to fully manage the direction, coordination and administrative control activities of the unit to which they are assigned, within the framework of laws and provisions for ATA staff in the school sector.

The professional qualification is essential for employment in public and private offices and for inclusion in the rankings of state school ATA staff.

TECHNICAL AND PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

BASIC MODULES:

  • Promotion of equal opportunity conditions in the workplace and relevant legislation

  • Basics of ecology and the environment, sustainable development and any relevant sector legislation

  • Computer science and web: theoretical knowledge and practical use of tools

  • Prevention and protection regulations in the workplace (Legislative Decree 626/94 and subsequent amendments and additions)

  • Basics of legislation on workers’ rights and duties, also with reference to the methods and characteristics of standard and non-standard contracts. Collective bargaining

  • Basics of the current tax system

  • Basics of project financing: incentive laws, structural funds, self-employment

SPECIALIZATION MODULES:

  • Basic knowledge of at least one community language

  • Public Administration and public-sector employees: in-depth study of the relevant legislation, duties and responsibilities

  • General services management and administrative coordination: legislation, functions, characteristics, responsibilities, duties compared

  • Management functions: systemic view of processes and strategic planning activities for improving service quality, preparation of organizational assignments for the staff concerned, coordination and definition of training and refresher programs for staff

  • Administrative and accounting functions: preparation and formalization of acts
