PROFESSIONAL PROFILE DESCRIPTION

This professional is responsible for inhumation, entombment, exhumation, disinterment, cleaning and handling of mortal remains, handling of coffins, and handling of waste material resulting from cemetery operations.

The professional qualification completes and enhances the funeral services operator profile, and is essential both for self-employment and for working as an employee in companies in the sector.

TECHNICAL AND PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

BASIC MODULES:

• Promotion of equal opportunities in the workplace and related regulatory framework

• Introduction to ecology and the environment, sustainable development and any relevant sector-specific regulations

• IT and the web: theoretical knowledge and practical use of tools

• Workplace prevention and protection regulations (Legislative Decree 626/94 and subsequent amendments and additions)

• Introduction to the regulations on workers’ rights and duties, including reference to the features and characteristics of standard and non-standard employment contracts. Collective bargaining

• Introduction to the current tax system

• Introduction to project financing: incentive laws, structural funds, self-employment
